With over 30 years’ experience as a trained chemist, Head Distiller Mark knows a thing or two about blending flavours to create the perfect product. Uncover how his scientific knowledge combined with a skill for balancing flavours and passion for gin, makes this the most unique Distillery Tour experience in the New Forest.
You will be expertly guided through the process of how Wyrd Gin is handcrafted in small batches, using a perfect blend of fine grain spirit, pure New Forest spring water and specially selected botanicals, discovering the secret to our beautifully smooth, classic style of gin.
This tour gives you the opportunity to find out more about our unique recipes first-hand with the chance to taste our full range of gins, the perfect way to enjoy your time in the beautiful New Forest.
Our distillery tours are approximately 90 minutes in duration. Each ticket includes a gin and tonic or a soft drink to enjoy on arrival (or one to takeaway for the designated driver) and plenty of samples to try!

DIRECTIONS FROM LONDON/SOUTHAMPTON:
Traveling Westbound on the A31 towards Bournemouth Just before Ringwood there is a left hand turn off marked ‘Hightown/Poulner’. Take the slip road and go right at the roundabout at the top of the rise, crossing the bridge over the A31. About 200m over the bridge there is a right-hand turn marked ‘Cadnam’, take this and follow the road to re-join the eastbound A31 signed to ‘M27, Southampton’. After about 200m on the A31 you will see a left hand turn to ‘Hangersley’, adjacent to InExess Garden Centre. Take the turn and follow the road for 200m. You will see a turn on the right-hand side with a ’Southern Counties Vets’ sign. Turn and follow the road, bearing right, to the end of the site. We are in a green building with a grey roof just over the crest of the hill opposite New Forest Metalworking – you can’t miss us!
